⏰ 1:00PM ET - Broncos vs. Chiefs
To kick off week 10 Sunday Football, we are covering the Denver Broncos (5-4) who are hosted by the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs (8-0).
Preview
Kansas City improved to a perfect 8-0 with a 30-24 overtime victory over Tampa Bay. Despite some controversy surrounding officiating, the Chiefs managed to pull through, with Patrick Mahomes delivering his best performance of the season. He ended an eight-game interception streak, throwing for 291 yards, three touchdowns, and no picks, completing 34 of 44 passes (77.3%).
Meanwhile, Denver stands at 5-4 and is now facing its toughest challenge of the year after suffering a heavy 41-10 defeat to Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in Baltimore. The Broncos will head to Arrowhead to take on the Chiefs, a team they've lost to 16 out of the last 17 matchups since 2015.
Prediction
Expect the Chiefs to keep the ball rolling with an offensively dominant game against the Broncos that covers the large spread.
Spread: Chiefs -7.5
Total: Over 42.0
⏰ 4:25PM ET - Eagles vs. Cowboys
After your post-lunch nap make sure to toss on this exciting matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles (6-2) and the Dallas Cowboys (3-5).
Preview
Following the potential season-ending injury to Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott last week, the Eagles will be up against an offense led by Cooper Rush. While Rush may not possess the same playmaking skills as Prescott, he is still a capable quarterback. The Cowboys are expected to rely heavily on a short passing game, where Rush will need to make quick decisions. The potential for an upset in the matchup hinges on the Eagles' focus. They need to stay locked in and not overlook their upcoming game against the Washington Commanders. The Eagles' offence should be able to run the ball effectively, and Jalen Hurts is expected to make several big plays in the passing game. Additionally, the Eagles' defense should have the upper hand on the defensive line and in the secondary against the Cowboys' offence.
Prediction
Expect another blowout from an extremely hot Eagles offence and a falling-apart Cowboys team.
Spread: Eagles -7.5
Total: Over 43.5
⏰ 8:20PM ET - Lions vs. Texans
To finish off NFL Sunday, we have the mighty Detroit Lions (7-1) hosting the Houston Texans (6-3) at NRG Stadium Stadium.
Preview
The Lions are among the hottest teams in the NFL, having won their last six games, four of which were by double-digit margins. Quarterback Jared Goff is performing like an MVP candidate, completing an impressive 75 percent of his passes and averaging a league-leading 8.7 yards per completion. Additionally, David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs form one of the top running back duos in the league, contributing to the sixth-ranked rushing offence.
The Texans are coming off a frustrating road loss to the New York Jets last week and have lost two of their last three games. Missing their top two receivers, Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs, has significantly impacted their offence. Additionally, several defensive starters are dealing with various injuries.
Prediction
With Houston's offence being limited due to injuries, expect them to get walked over in a decisive battle.
Spread: Lions -3.5
Total: Under 49.0
