This week we're getting a double-header for MNF! Check out this edition of The Betting Report for picks ahead of Jaguars-Bills and Bengals-Commanders! Let's make some money!

⏰ 7:30PM EST - Jaguars vs. Bills

Preview

The Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2) will take on the Buffalo Bills (2-0) in Week 3 of Monday Night Football. The game kicks off at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York.

The Bills enter the matchup as 5-point favorites, with a total over/under of 46.5. The Bills have started strong this season, driven by an MVP-caliber performance from Josh Allen, and James Cook excelled against Miami last week with three touchdowns in the first half.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars have struggled out of the gate. Trevor Lawrence has had a rocky start, contributing to an offense that isn’t firing on all cylinders. The Jags have just 30 points between their first two games, which includes the 13 points they put up in their loss to the Browns last week. Jacksonville aims to avoid a record of 0-3, making their playoff hopes near impossible.

Prediction

While week three has historically been in favour of the 0-2 underdogs, I expect the Bills to be capable of squeezing out a win by a margin of at least one TD.

🔒 Spread: Buffalo Bills -5

🔒 Total: Over 46.5

⏰ 8:15PM EST - Bengals vs Commanders

Preview

The Washington Commanders (1-1) are set to face the Cincinnati Bengals (0-2) in the second game of the Monday Night Football lineup. This Week 3 matchup features two former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterbacks from LSU: Jayden Daniels and Joe Burrow.

Daniels secured his first career win last week as the Commanders defeated the New York Giants 21-18. He completed 23 of 29 passes for 226 yards while running back Brian Robinson Jr. rushed for 133 yards on 17 carries. Kicker Austin Seibert was instrumental, scoring all 21 points by going 7-for-7 on field goals.

Burrow and the Bengals (0-2) are looking to rebound from a narrow 26-25 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. In that game, Burrow completed 23 of 36 passes for 258 yards and two touchdowns, but the running game struggled, with running back Zack Moss leading the team with just 34 yards on 12 carries.

Prediction

Now that the Bengals have another matchup in their favour, expect them to come out strong against the commanders who have difficulty getting to the end zone. The Bengals should come away with this one in a lopsided game that stays well under the total points.

🔒 Total: Under 46.0

Good luck bettors!
