This setback has left San Francisco at the bottom of the highly competitive NFC West, with chances of missing the playoffs growing.

Although quarterback Brock Purdy has had a decent season, he only managed 159 yards against Seattle, along with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Now, he will be up against a Packers secondary that is allowing just 207.5 passing yards per game, ranking 13th in the NFL.

Green Bay just came off a thrilling game last weekend, managing to secure a 20-19 win over the Bears thanks to a last-second blocked field goal. Head coach Matt LaFleur remains unbeaten against Chicago and can improve his record to 3-2 against Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers with a win on Sunday.

The two teams faced off in San Francisco during last season’s Divisional Round, where the Niners narrowly won 23-20. However, playing in front of their home crowd this time could give Green Bay the edge they need.
