The Ravens' defence is steadily finding its rhythm, which is typical for a team known for its defensive prowess and talent. Los Angeles, despite having Justin Herbert, isn’t too solid offensively. They should do well if the Ravens can contain Ladd McConkey on defence. However, they need to ensure he’s covered when Herbert drops back.
The Ravens should feel confident about moving the ball against the Chargers, even with Los Angeles ranking fourth in EPA per play allowed (-0.101) this season. Baltimore's offence has cooled slightly, but they still lead the league in EPA per play (0.188) and rank in the Top 5 for both Rush (0.025) and Dropback (0.025) EPA per play. If Los Angeles overcommits to the run or pass, Baltimore can adjust and find success. Realistically, there’s no reason Lamar Jackson can’t exploit this secondary, especially after Joe Burrow just did.
